Jonathan trained on the 2 year acting course at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
He was the 2019 winner of the Patricia Routledge Award, winner of the Newton Blick Award for Versatility, Finalist in the BBC Carleton Hobbs Award and semi-finalist in the Alan Bates Award.
He is represented by Kerry Hope-Kavanagh at Sally Hope Associates
Jonathan is an experienced teacher and workshop facilitator.
He's taught communication skills, comedy and acting from 5 to 95 year olds.
He regularly teaches with the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School Workshop, Troupers in London and Mortal Fools.
Jonathan's 2019 storytelling show "I Just Want Someone To Know I Was Here" was made in collaboration with Melanie Frances. It was developed with SPARK Festival at the Tobacco Factory Theatres, and The Actors Centre before having a sell-out run at A Play, A Pie and A Pint @ Edinburgh Fringe 2019.
He's currently working on a new show with the help of Elevate East and Rich Mich Shoreditch called "One Way Mirror"
Jonathan works regularly with communities across the UK.
His 2020 Artist in Residence with SPUDworks in Sway received national press for the creation of his Lockdown Cookbook, with articles on the BBC news and People's Friend.
