Dogsitting Work-in-progress (2021)

A collaboration between Conflicted Theatre and PillowTalk Theatre
As part of the Emerge Festival @ Golden Goose Theatre
146 Camberwell New Road, Camberwell, London, SE5 0RR
8.30pm 7th, 8th and 9th December
£10 / £8 Concession

Tensions are high when ex-friends Leo and Frankie are accidentally reunited at a dog-sitting. As the pair descend into intoxication, the dog takes matters into its own paws…

Dogsitting is an hilarious and disturbing story of friendship, masculinity and man’s best friend. A unique cocktail of magic-realistic clowning and classic theatrical two-hander, Dogsitting brings together Conflicted Theatre (“bold, fascinating, whip-smart” - Everything Theatre) and PillowTalk Theatre (“fantastic, interactive, and hilarious” - Broadway Baby) for the first time. As Leo (Pedro Leandro) and Frankie (Jonathan Oldfield) look after their mutual friend’s dog (Lorna Rose Treen), their complex past becomes intertwined with a dog’s immediate needs and, when the dog begins to take over, a simple task becomes a nightmare job. Have they had too much wine, or did the dog really just speak…

#DreamOut (2020)

Digital Commission with the Corn Exchange Newbury
Every week, the PillowTalk storytellers will provide your family with a short tale to engage children and inspire adults.

Along with the story will be: three questions to get you thinking, three ideas for fun activities to do at home, and one extra special illustration.

You’ll be able to hear the story, see us read the story, and read the story yourself. From there, the possibilities are endless! Don’t forget to share your creations with us using the hashtag #dreamOUT.

Whilst our theatres are closed, our imaginations don't have to be!

Brighton and Hove Grown Festival 2017 @ The Purple Playhouse

Clown duo Sasha and Remy want to start their own TV show but something sinister is at work. Their dark imaginations combine to create a wonderfully terrible children's TV show. Jam Sandwich is a cocktail of mime, slapstick and clowning. Dollop this between two hapless and disturbing heroes and munch into some side-splitting comedy.

"Fantastic evening, enduring characters and genuine creativity." Sean, an audience member

"Wild and brilliant! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! You’ll lose an hour to collective delirium and wish you could lose more..." Jack, an audience member

"Brought my son to your show today. It was his first ever Edinburgh festival show. We loved it." Simon, an audience member.
